Dental Technology & Engineering

CAD/CAM materials technology
applied to dental esthetics.

Tosoh powder, CIP isostatic pressing, controlled sintering and ±3 µm milling. The engineering behind every ZIRKVEX PRO disc.

Four engineering decisions.

01

Tosoh Powder

Japanese 3Y-TZP medical-grade raw material, sub-micron particle distribution.

0.3 µm Average diameter
02

CIP Pressing

Cold isostatic. Homogeneous density across the whole disc, with no gradients.

250 MPa Pressing pressure
03

VITA Multilayer

Color and translucency gradient anchored to the VITA Classic scale.

8 layers Max multilayer
04

Controlled sinter

Dedicated thermal curves per reference. Type S thermocouple calibrated monthly.

1530 °C Typical thermal peak

Zirconia discs that redefine the standard.

Technical comparison of the four ZIRKVEX PRO lines. Typical values per ISO 6872, batch-to-batch variation < 5%.

Line Strength Translucency Layers Clinical indication
3D Plus Anterior esthetics 1050 MPa High 6 Veneers · anterior crowns
4D Full anatomical 1200 MPa Medium-high 8 Full anatomical · short bridges
Lithium Disilicate HT / LT ≥300 MPa Premium 1 Maximum esthetics · thin veneers

From digital impression to clinical cementation.

Six instrumented stages. Each step documents its parameters and publishes them for your team.

What defines the microstructure is not only the peak temperature, but how you get there. Curve published per reference.

Stage 01

Initial heating

8 °C/min

Controlled ramp from 20 °C to 900 °C. Gradual stress release.

Stage 02

High heating

3 °C/min

Slow ramp from 900 °C to the peak. Allows uniform diffusion.

Stage 04

Cooling

10 °C/min

Controlled descent to room temperature. No thermal shock.

Total duration ~6 h
